Living
up to the spirit of this
new age, the visionaries
of this region laid down
the foundation of
Islamia College almost a
century ago. Since that
time the college has
served as a mother
educational institution
of the N.W.F.P. It has
not only given a vision
and a hope to the people
of the area, but
believes in the adage
that ‘mind is a terrible
thing to be wasted’ and
focuses on harnessing
its full potentials.
Recently, the college
has been granted the
status of a University.
We perceive it a
befitting tribute to
this finest institution
of the province. We are
determined to further
enhance its ‘traditions
of excellence’ and
commit to take every
pain that as persons,
our students should be
decent and as
professionals they
should be competent.
