Examinations

As a builder of the nation, a teacher does not only teach and transfer his accumulated knowledge to the students, but also it is his duty to see as to how much the students absorb. The only means to test and evaluate them as to how much they have absorbed, is "Examination". Hence a teacher is expected to devote full attention to this important aspect of education.

At the university, we have two types of testing and evaluation systems.

Monthly Test

Monthly tests are regularly held throughout the academic year of the intermediate students at the end of each month. Two days are reserved for a monthly test: one day for compulsory subjects and the other for elective subjects. The paper is set from the course taught to the students during the month, bases on MCQs according to the Board pattern. The test is administered simultaneously to all the sections.

Pre-Board Examination

We conduct two Pre-Board examinations during an academic year. The 1st pre board examination is arranged just after the winter vacation, while the 2nd pre board examination is held after the completion of course. The results are also conveyed to the parents of the students as well.

Participation of the student in the monthly test and pre board examinations is compulsory. In case of absence from the monthly text, a fine of Rs.50/- per paper is impost, while in case of absence from pre board examination, a fine of Rs.100/- per paper is imposed on a student.

Through home examinations, the University tries its best to train the students and prepare them not only for the final board examination, but also to train them for the entry tests conducted in the professional colleges.
